Nektan art performance study center is an educational program of the Cultural Center Nektan art. The program originated in 2016 when C.C. conducted several short workshops to introduce the public and those interested in the art of Butoh. Later, over the year, several performance projects were conducted across Europe. In 2019, inspired by the notations of Brecht, Fluxus, and Tatsumi Hijikate, the idea came to form a new way of education in the field of performance art and Buto, on a distance, to make this art accessible to everyone. We offer Butoh Correspondence Training, private butoh art, and performance art classes, movement meditation classes, as well as various thematic workshops.

The main mentor of the program is Marco Nektan, an independent artist, performance artist, international butoh dancer, Yoga and Meditation instructor, Profesor and producer, born in Serbia (former Yugoslavia). Marco has a PhD degree in Polymedia Art; he has created and performed over 500 original performances, he explores performance art and butoh for about 20 years, while he has been in the field of dance since his childhood. He learned from various masters from all over the world and attended many international education programs in the field of butoh, performance art, and theatre. He is the founder of C.C.
